Kurti: More communication with internationals

PRISHTINA, May 30/ATA/ Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti said that the government of Kosovo has increased communication with the international community as calming of the situation in the north of the country is a common goal.

“In the last few hours, our institutions have increased communication with international partners because we have a common goal of calming the situation. But, in addition to concerns and worries, yesterday it was confirmed that we also have threats and dangers in common”, said Kurti.

He stated that the mayors elected in the northern municipalities, despite the low turnout in the elections, are the only ones who have the legitimacy to be in the municipal buildings and at the service of the citizens.

Kurti made the statement on the Facebook.

“Extremists and militias have special names; they are not the people; the Serbian community must be freed from them. We have identified most of them yesterday and today. There cannot be individuals or groups above the law and more powerful than the state”, concluded Kurti. /KosovaPress/p.s./
