TIRANA, May 27 /ATA/ The mayor of Tirana and political leader of SP in the region, Erion Veliaj, together with Rakip Suli, who was re-elected at the helm of the municipality of Kamza for a second term, met socialists, but also residents who trusted this political force in May 14 to thank them for the trust bestowed on him.
“The people in Kamza do not necessarily feel like socialists, instead they have shown common sense and as long as they are satisfied with daycare centers built under the leadership of Rakipi, where they can leave their children, and as long as Rakipi puts a lot of work in universal child care facilities, they have chosen to vote for him. They are just responsible parents, who want more to see more nurseries, more kindergartens like the ones Rakipi and the Socialist Party build. If Rakipi proved that in one term he built a bridge, so that the river does not divide people, but unite them, then when we build seven bridges, Tirana and Kamza will thrive and progress like two inseparable sisters in all the beautiful projects we have,” said Veliaj.
Veliaj told the socialists that this is not a moment for self-complacency, but to be down to earth and serve everyone with humbleness, even to those who did not vote for the Socialist Party this time.
Even the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, said that he will work hard and will be a good servant for every citizen.
