Kosovo PM, visiting U.S. Senators discuss dialogue process with Serbia

PRISTINA, May 22 /ATA/ – Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti hosted Monday the visiting U.S. Senators Chris Murphy and Gary Peters, with talks focusing on the latest developments in the country and the EU-facilitated dialogue with Serbia.

PM Kurti said that he and the U.S. Senators put emphasis on the fact that all democratic countries oppose Russian aggression on Ukraine.

“Democracy is both the strongest and the most fragile system and that’s why we need to further nurture and defend it. We discussed latest developments in the country, progress and aspirations to move forward. We also discussed relations with our neighbour, Serbia,” Kosovo PM Kurti said.

Prior to the meeting with PM Kurti, the two U.S. Senators were received by President Vjosa Osmani.
