MIA: False claims about injured people fuel unnecessary panic

TIRANA, Oct 13 /ATA/ The Media and Information Agency (MIA) said today that claims circulating on social media and other platforms that two students had been intubated were false.
The agency urged the public not to believe or share unverified reports, warning that such information could fuel panic and cause unnecessary concern among the public and the students’ families.

The Media and Information Agency urged citizens to rely solely on official and reliable sources of information, avoiding outlets that spread false or misleading claims.
Official updates on the health of those injured during the protest, including both demonstrators and State Police officers, are provided by the competent authority, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
