TIRANA, May 19 /ATA/ “Mare Adriatik” is a company based in Vau i Dejes, which specializes in the production and processing of fish products.
Since 1995, the company has brought to the local market a wide range of products, which are also exported to the foreign market.
Funded by the National Support Scheme, “Mare Adriatik” has expanded its product collection and storage facilities, investing in large-sized refrigerated rooms. This has increased storage capacities and improved production standards.
Fishing is one of the important sectors of the Albanian economy and as such has been continuously supported by subsidy schemes.
In the National Scheme 2023, fishermen are supported through the measure for the renewal of the infrastructure of fishing vessels, which aims to promote further development of the sector, through the improvement of working conditions and the increase of local production.
