TIRANA, May 6 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama on Saturday stopped over in Himara as part of local election campaign to support the Socialist Party candidate, Jorgo Goro.
In the meeting with the citizens, Rama emphasized that Himara and its coastline have seen investments like never before.
“We have made investments that were not done since the time of our grandparents, who with hard toil, savings and taste built the villages we come from. They have built the villages here with such elegance and charm, but later on nothing has been done. Even after the war and the fall of communism, many came to enjoy the beauty of these shores, but few thought to invest and support these communities, whose labor force was massively exploited,” said Rama.
