TIRANA, May 5 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama said Friday evening that Albania’s new justice bodies and system are already acting and making progress, albeit rather slowly.
“I have my reservations about current justice system and the anti-crime and anti-corruption prosecution office, SPAK. However, I defend the work of the new justice bodies, because I see that justice system is slowly advancing. It was until lately when justice system was under the feet of criminals and those who used power, including the Prime Minister’ office, to violate justice and prevent justice bodies to interrogate individuals after having committed a crime,” PM Rama said in a TV interview.
