TIRANA, May 2/ATA/ Beginning from today, the companies’ representatives can apply through e-Albania to benefit from the subsidy for the additional cost of social contributions while they apply the minimum wage of 40,000 ALL.
Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj announced today the categories of companies that will be able to benefit.
During the press conference on the developments in the economy during the first 3 months of the current year, Ibrahimaj said that the beneficiaries are companies in the processing industry, those in the fishing and forestry sectors.
“Beginning from today on e-Albania, there appears the application link, in the specific section of the National Employment and Training Agency (AKPA). The categories of entities that benefit from subsidies for the increased costs of social security contributions related to the increase in the minimum wage are defined in the decision of the government and include the processing industry, all manufacturing, and the sections of agriculture that include forestry and fishing, said the minister.
According to her, the entities will receive subsidies for the number of employees with minimum wage registered at the end of 2022.
