“Pyramid, soon the largest hub of digital technology in the Balkans,” said Rama.
The Tirana Pyramid revitalization project aims to transform it into a multifunctional center in the city, providing space for young people and others to engage in art, culture and creative technology.
This center, financed by the government, the municipality of Tirana and the American Development Fund, will have 18 halls, where young people can study different computer programs and another 14 outdoor classrooms.
According to the project, the Pyramid is divided into 3 areas, where one part will be dedicated to Tumo and the classes that will take place inside, one part will house business systems and IT entrepreneurs where many of the startups will practice and test products.
The innovation is the recycling of all the stone tiles that originally adorned the façade as an aggregate in the new concrete used to create the new building, while the sliding exterior will have steps and serve a resting space for students.
