TIRANA, April 20 /ATA/ – A tree planting campaign supported by the governing Socialist Party through its electoral funds is being expanded to include all municipalities across Albania.
Prime Minister Edi Rama took to the social media on Thursday to share a gallery of pictures showing images from the ongoing tree planting campaign in various cities all over the country.
“Tree donation and planting provided under the Socialist Party’s electoral funds continued today,” PM Rama wrote.
The ruling Socialists opened their electoral campaign for the May 14 local polls earlier this month and a part of the funding allocated by the Central Election Commission has been earmarked to support tree planting activities throughout the country.
