Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, evaluated the role of strategies in the development and progress of various sectors of the country’s economy.

She said that through the strategy of intelligent specialization in Albania S3, we start a new page by designing a new strategy, with a different methodology, which will be like a guide for the Albanian government and helps development of the sectors and subsectors of economy in response to contemporary developments that time demands, enabling progress and employment for young people.

“This strategy follows discussions with interested groups, the Academy of Sciences, actors in the field of economy and responds in a specialized way to every sector from agriculture, energy, manufacturing, environment, culture to the blue economy and especially employment based on digitization and innovation”, said Balluku.

“The government supports the intelligent specialization process of Albania and therefore it works with EU experts, for the drafting of the relevant document in line with the integration process that the country has already started.
