TIRANA, March 22/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated today all Bektashi believers on the Sultan Nevruz holiday, the spring festival.
“I wish that spring also blooms in your hearts like the very meaning of this blessed day,” Rama wrote in a post on social media.
In Albania, the festival commemorates the birthday of Ali ibn Abi Talib and simultaneously the advent of spring.
It was declared a public holiday in 1996. /p.s./
