TIRANA, March 20/ATA/ On the first day of opening of applications to the National Support Scheme for Agriculture and Rural Development 2023, there has been a record number of applications reaching the number of 15,591 applications of farmers, nationwide.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Frida Krifca gave the news saying that, “This record figure is a clear indicator of the increased confidence of farmers, as a result of transparency in every link of this process”.
Farmers have a deadline to apply for support in the National Scheme 2023, until April 11 of this year.
The main focus of funding this year is for the livestock sector, which receives 60% of the total national agricultural subsidy scheme, while the highest flow of applications comes from the area of Fier, Korça, Lushnja, Vlora, Berat, etc.
Farmers apply online on the e-Albania portal, for one of the nine support measures offered by this scheme, with zero documents and zero costs./gj.m/r.e/p.s./
