TIRANA, March 16 /ATA/ The commitment of our country as part of the perspectives of the European Union in the field of the Common Security and Defense Policy and the contribution of our Armed Forces to the military missions of the EU was the highlight of the conversation between the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi and the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security/Vice President of the EC, Josep Borrell Fontelles.
This is what Minister Peleshi said on social media about the conversation held in the framework of the visit that the senior European official made Thursday in Tirana.
“Albania will continue to pursue a constructive regional policy, in support of peace and stability, promoting regional initiatives that strengthen the relationship between the EU and the Western Balkans,” Peleshi said.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, attended on Thursday the meeting of the Albania-EU Stabilization-Association Committee.
