TIRANA, March 6 /ATA/ The Vlora Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage announced that the works on the Prokopi Bridge have completed. The works consisted of maintenance, restoration and reinforcement of the Cultural Monument, Category I.
The Prokopi Bridge is located in Himara and is part of the maintenance package of the Vlora Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage.
It is now fully functional and an added value among Himara’s cultural attractions.
The monument carries architectural and historical importance. This bridge originating in century XVIII, 17.5 m at length, 3.8 m at width, featuring a 6 m arch span, is called after the church that is located nearby, the Church of Prokop.
