TIRANA, March 7 /ATA/ Monitoring wildlife through camera traps is an important process to document throughout the winter season.
The National Agency of Protected Areas announced through a post on social media that several new camera traps have been installed in the “Mali i Tomorit” Park.
“After documenting some of the data recorded by the camera traps, located in the “Mali i Tomorit” Park, the specialists of AdZM Berat are again in the field, to install some new cameras. Monitoring the vital activities of animals is a continuous process,” National Agency of Protected Areas writes.
The installation of camera traps in protected areas is aimed at monitoring the wildlife in these areas. Wild fauna species live peacefully in their habitats thanks to the hunting moratorium.
The extension of the moratorium until 2025 aims to improve the condition of wild fauna.
