TIRANA, Feb 6 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Socialist Party has filed a request to Parliament Speaker, Lindita Nikolla, seeking the suspension of 8 Democratic Party MPs, who blocked the floor of the Assembly a few days ago.
The Socialist Party seeks the suspension from the plenary session for 10 days of Luciano Boçi, Ina Zhupa, Albana Vokshi, Luan Baçi, Tritan Shehu, Ervin Salianji, Gazment Bardhi and Bledion Nallbati. The request was signed by 7 deputies of the Socialist Party.
“Deputies Luciano Boçi, Albana Vokshi, Ina Zhupa, Luan Baçi, Tritan Shehu and Ervin Salianji blocked in sync the podium of the Assembly during the entire session, making it impossible for the deputies to take the floor as according to the agenda,” the request reads.
“Deputies Gazmend Bardhi and Bledion Nallbati repeatedly uttered insulting words towards the Speaker of the Assembly and used unauthorized objects in order to create noise and block the work of the Assembly. Even after receiving a warning, the above-mentioned MPs continued to obstruct the plenary session, keeping the podium occupied.
The request will be reviewed by the Ethics Secretariat, which will meet on Wednesday at 10:00 hrs.
