TIRANA, January 26/ATA/ Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi held a meeting in Washington today with Senator Gary Peter, member of the Cybernetics, Innovative Technologies and Information Systems Committee.
In a post on social networks, Peleshi wrote that the focus of the discussions with Senator Gary Peter were the strategic relations with the US for cyber defense.
Peleshi expressed grateful thanks for the contribution that the USA has made to Albania in cyber defense.
“There was a positive assessment of Albania’s role in the region from one of the early supporters of the Albanian community and at the same time leader of the group for Albanian issues in the Senate. We had discussions on strategic relations with the USA and the possibility of expanding support for cyber defense”, Peleshi emphasized./gj.m/p.s./
