TIRANA, January 10 /ATA/ Minister of Education and Sports Evis Kushi received today OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
In a post on social networks, Minister Kushi shared moments from the meeting with Abdrakhmanov, with whom she talked about positive practices that strengthen inter-ethnic relations in Albania, efforts and continuous cooperation with the countries of the region to support minorities.
Kushi highlighted the work done to provide the curriculum and textbooks in the mother tongue for minority students, the professional support of minority teachers, etc.
Abdrakhmanov praised the work of the Ministry of Education especially for supporting the Roma and Egyptian minorities in terms of education, both vocational and general.
Minister Kushi expressed the institutional commitment to cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for the programs and the support of the ongoing integration processes./p.s./
