TIRANA, January 9 /ATA/ In the domestic foreign currency exchange market, on Monday the Albanian Lek strengthened its position against the Euro and the US dollar.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the USD depreciated by 1.75 Lekë, compared to the weekend, while the European currency by 0.14 Lekë.
The USD got exchanged for 110 Lekë, while the euro was exchanged for 117.32 Lekë.
Meanwhile, the British pound strengthened by 0.91 Lekë and jumped to the quota of 133.40 Lekë.
The Swiss currency is exchanged at 118.98 Lekë or 0.02 Lekë more than yesterday.
