TIRANA, Jan 4 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informed on Wednesday that in the last 24 hours, of 75 tests performed, 6 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Health, the positive cases have been detected in these municipalities: 2 in Tirana, 1 citizen each in Durrës, Lushnje, Kolonje, Berat.
“There are 144 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country. Currently, 2 patients are receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital. In the last 24 hours, no fatalities were reported due to Sars-Cov-2,” same sources say.
“Meanwhile 17 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to date at 329,069,” the update says.
