TIRANA, Dec 22 /ATA/ The labor market in the third quarter of this year showed a very positive trend, according to the Bank of Albania.
According to statistics published by BoA, employment in the economy increased by 4.2% in annual terms and unemployment rate dropped to an all- time low of 10.6%.
Meanwhile, positive indicators are also noted in the increase of average salary.
“The average salary in the private sector marked an annual increase of 12.4%,” BoA informs.
This performance proves that aggregate demand in the country remains solid, sufficient to generate employment and wage increase.
It also illustrates the fact that the foundations of the country’s economic growth are relatively healthy.
