TIRANA, Dec 14 /ATA/ The chairman of the Albania – France friendship parliamentary group, Eduard Shalsi, and Deputy Parliament Speaker, Ermonela Felaj, are in Paris on an official visit to the Senate.
The delegation from the Parliament of Albania was received by the chairman of the Finance Committee, the Foreign Committee and the deputy director for Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
These meetings focused on Albania’s European Union accession agenda, and especially the Summit EU- Western Balkans held in Tirana last week, showing once again that it is an excellent sign for integration of the region.
The legislators thanked France for supporting Albania on the European path and underlined that President Macron’s proposal for resolving the dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia gave the green light for the opening of negotiations even with our country.
The interlocutors underlined the high level of political relations and expressed the will to deepen them at the economic and social level.
