TIRANA, Nov 30/ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, stated on Wednesday that the government has not taken any measures to shield Albanians from the soaring inflation in the country.
In a video message published on social media, Tabaku says that “every day Albanian citizens ask me what inflation is.”
“There is no better example to illustrate the answer for them than the fact that today Albanians bought 9% less fuel, but spent 185 million more euros,” she said.
She emphasized that inflation is the fact that every product is more expensive.
“Today, every product, from fuel to food, bread, eggs, milk, costs more. This is inflation. This is in fact the socialist inflation that we have witnessed in the last 9 years only due to increase in taxes, but on the other hand also due to the lack of government attention. At the beginning of December, during a difficult winter, there is no responsibility on the side of the government about the measures it will take to shield Albania and the Albanians,” said Tabaku.
