TIRANA, November 30/ATA/ There have been 3791 applications in one month for the project of solar panels for heating water at home.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the solar panel project is making progress at a good pace to support mainly family consumers.
“Beginning from November 1, there has started application process of citizens for this scheme, the cost of which will be subsidized to the extent of 70% by the Government”, said Rama.
“We give the guarantee that we will continue to support and protect the Albanian consumer in this situation of global energy crisis”, said Rama in a post on social networks, which invited citizens to apply at the address http://eficenca.gov.al
Beginning from November 1, citizens can apply to receive a 70% subsidy for the installation of solar heating panels. The scheme to encourage the use of solar panels for heating water by household customers aims to reduce electricity consumption and improve the supply of hot sanitary water and reduce CO2 emissions.
This is the second call for applications. It is addressed to household customers interested in receiving the installation service of solar panels for heating water. Up to 2 thousand household customers will be selected to benefit from this support scheme./p.s./
