TIRANA, Nov 11 /ATA/ Ermir Ylviu, 34 years old, with the support of the IPARD program, has planted 23 hectares of land with pomegranates in Lekaj, Rrogozhina, and today he produces first-quality pomegranates for the local market and for export.
Ylvi says that two years ago, with his passion and desire for rural areas, he rented a land area of 23 ha, for the cultivation of pomegranates.
Ermir says that his story in agriculture started the establishment of the farm in Lekaj of Rrogozhina.
His passion for agriculture developed into a concrete investment also thanks to the support as part of the
IPARD program, both in the planting of pomegranate seedlings, but also in the installation of the drip irrigation system.
An example of this support is the filter device, which helps him in mechanized irrigation of each seedling root.
