Tabaku: Budget does not respond to citizens’ requirements

TIRANA, November 2/ATA/- Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku stated today that the 2023 budget does not meet the interests of the citizens.

According to Tabaku, the budget does not deal with inflation that has reached 30%, with the increase in loan installments, increased bills for education and energy.

“This is the budget that is already being discussed in the Parliament. Does the budget meet the needs of Albanians? Does the budget deal with inflation, which has reached 30%? Does it respond to the increase in loan installments that today are impoverishing and reducing consumption? Does it answer to the increased education bills? Absolutely not, it does not deal with any of these concerns; on the contrary it adds another 17 million Euros in costs for freelancers, increased taxes. It receives 130 million Euros in additional taxes from Albanian citizens to pay 120 million Euros in concessions. And then we wonder why Albanians leave? They leave because they feel insecure”, said Tabaku./p.s./
