TIRANA, October 24/ATA/ The Albanian Lek gained points in the foreign currency exchange rate versus the euro and the US dollar compared to the weekend.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the Lek easily gained ground by 0.01 lekë in the exchange rate with the euro and got exchanged at 117.27 lekë.
The USD was exchanged at 119.39 lekë, or 1 lek less than at the weekend.
Meanwhile, the British pound was overvalued by 1.22 lekë and reached the quota of 135.03 lekë.
The Swiss currency is exchanged at 119.12 lekë or 0.08 lekë more than yesterday.
