Rama: Satellites will enable us create a database in function of future programme

TIRANA, September 29/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that Albania’s satellites launched into space implies we are entering another era of law enforcement, the fight against corruption and the consolidation of the state.

“It is a truly marked day because with the launch of these satellites, we enter another era of equality before the law, but also equal rights to benefit from all state support, for farmers, for entrepreneurs and so on,” he said.

The prime minister added that, “By means of the satellites we will be able to see everything that happens in many fields and monitor all crops”.

“It will be much easier for the Ministry of Agriculture to identify the authenticity of all self-declarations related to the need to subsidize oil, since for the amount of crops in the territory the farmer will no longer need to produce property titles and say I have a certain amount of land”, said Rama.

The prime minister emphasized that by means of the satellites we will create an important database that creates the possibility to do more analyzes in function of programming for the future.

“Thus, we will have a real overview of crops and areas where they are planted. We will reach into faster conclusions than when collecting data by eye. The same will be applied for the beaches, forests, rivers and all unauthorized interventions or deforestation or erosion of riverbeds. The same will apply for the fires. We will have a mirror of real situation, so it will be impossible for the inspectors to sell the state a false reality in exchange for a bribe,” said Rama./p.s./
