TIRANA, September 22/ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu said today that “With the Social Resilience Package, there will be increased the support for the disabled for the electricity bill”.
Speaking at a briefing after meeting of the government, Manastirliu emphasized that, “Today, there is taken another important decision by the government regarding the support for electricity, for the compensation of the amount of assistance for electricity for persons who have a disability status: paraplegics, tetraplegics and the blind. They will get an increased amount of support for electricity compensation. This measure of support for persons with disabilities, the tetraplegics who have this measure of support from the status and also for the blind persons of the first category, this measure of support goes from 2,000 new lekë, which is currently, to 3,000 new lekë “.
“As for the persons who have the status of the second category blind, from 1,400 new lekë which is today, it goes to 2,400 new lekë. More than 12 thousand people benefit from this support”, said Manastirliu./k.s/j.p/p.s./
