TIRANA, September 20 /ATA/ Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja inspected today the high security prison in Peqin. Director General of the Prisons, the member of the Law Committee and the MP of Elbasan Saimir Hasalla accompanied him in this inspection.
Manja evaluated highly the managers and staff for their professional work and demanded rigorousness as they perform their duties and abide by the law.
Manja explained in more detail the new salary increase system, but also the progress of the process for the new uniforms.
“The government will always pay attention to the police and prison staff while taking into consideration the very difficult nature of their work”, said Manja in a post on social networks.
“We will present a master plan within a short period of time. We expect it will bring about a fundamental change in the entire management system of this delicate sector, but also a sector that spends a lot of Albanian taxpayers’ money”, emphasized Manja./p.s./
