TIRANA, September 15/ATA/- In context of the week of Swedish culture, in the FAB Gallery was opened yesterday evening the exhibition of Swedish artists “Can you hear me?”
The exhibition, curated by Mats Jansson of Nääs Konsthantverk, comes as a kind of call, a voice.
“Everyday the voices of journalists, writers and artists are banned all over the world. The voices of those who stand up for democracy, freedom, diversity, equality, the environment, the right to love the person they love and the right to education. The voices of those who want to make the world a better place. But, these voices can be heard in cities and at night when alone. Do you hear me?”, this is the call of this contemporary art exhibition, which will remain open to the public until October 5.
Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition was ambassador of Sweden in Tirana Elsa Hastad, Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, Swedish and local artists, as well as art lovers.
The artists of the exhibition will offer a workshop today in the premises of the FAB Gallery. Afterwards, the evening will continue under the music of the famous Swedish band ABBA.
The concert will take place in Italia Square, where the Swedish band “Vision” will perform, in honor of the legendary group ABBA, one of whose members has sent a special message to Tirana./p.s./
