TIRANA, September 14 /ATA/ Minister of Economy and Finance Delina Ibrahimaj said that, “Last week, the government presented the full Resistance Package, which in total increases the government’s support fund to citizens to cope with the crisis situation in the amount of 43 billion lekë” .
During a briefing after the government meeting, Ibrahimaj emphasized that, “This is a significant package and these funds constitute about 65% of the budget that the Albanian government has had on average in the last 5 years for investments and internal financing”.
“It is about a fund that has been made available mainly to Albanian citizens, so that the budget of Albanian families is affected as little as possible by this crisis we are experiencing”, Ibrahimaj stated, as he pointed out that the government has made transparent all budget cuts.
The minister emphasized that in addition to the support for the citizens, the government continues to show extraordinary care for the preservation of the macroeconomic parameters that guarantee the economic growth of the country and the investments that generate employment and therefore the well-being of the family economy.
“Various infrastructural projects are being implemented under the ADF program and other projects are ongoing. In a situation of a crisis, it is very important to preserve all macroeconomic parameters of the country. It is very important that we support all Albanian families and support the economic growth of the country and continue the investments that ensure the increase in employment as an indicator of improvement of the well-being of the economy of Albanian families”, stated Ibrahimaj./r.e/p.s./
