TIRANA, Sept 11 /ATA/ President of the Republic Bajram Begaj has commemorated the September 11 terrorist attacks in the USA.
In a post on social media, Begaj states that “today we pay tribute with sadness and respect all those who lost and sacrificed their lives in the September 11 terrorist attacks against the USA and democracy, attacks which changed the world and the perception of security forever.”
Also, Begaj points out that recent cyberattacks on our virtual infrastructure highlight that security must remain our top priority.
He underlines that “we must focus on building and developing our capacities while strengthening ties with our partners and allies to safeguard the security of countries and citizens.”
Begaj states that the strengthening, cooperation and effectiveness of the institutions to respond swiftly and promptly are the key to success in order to keep the national security intact.
