TIRANA, August 26/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the Gramsh event did not violate national security since those objects are declassified as objects of special importance in 2012.
During the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, Rama responded to the journalists’ interest in the event that took place in Gramsh, where three foreign citizens were detained.
“They are not objects of special importance; they are not even factories that produce weapons; they are just ramshackle buildings declassified as objects of special importance in 2012,” said Rama.
According to him, they have a limited status of absolutely bankrupt objects because they cannot pay for the electricity and the electricity supply is cut off.”
“There are some guards who are there to protect that perimeter from being illegally occupied. To say that they are spying by photographing those archaeological remains of communism is very ridiculous, while what should concern you and concerns us is what these people’s real intentions are”, said Rama.
The prime minister emphasized that it is up to the investigation to find out more about this.
In the meantime, he said that, “We expect from the investigation to find out what their real intention is”./p.s./
