TIRANA, Aug 18 /ATA/ 3211 jobseekers have received support through employment promotion programs in the first 6 months of this year.
The National Employment and Skills Agency (AKPA) announced on Thursday that job seekers who are beneficiaries of the economic assistance scheme, young people, people with disabilities, and long-term job seekers benefited from employment promotion programs.
For 2022, the State Budget has allocated a fund of 550 million lek for employment promotion programs.
As part of these programs, the Employment Offices have used a tailored approach to fill the vacancies, cooperating with employers through subsidies.
Through short-term programs of up to 12 months, the Albanian government offers financial support for the salaries and social security of new employees.
