TIRANA, August 18/ATA/ The EU Ambassador in Tirana Christiane Hohmann visited today a bee farm which, thanks to the support from the EU4Innovation program, has managed to expand its activity.
“Fantastic to see how ‘AlpineBees’ has developed since 2019, when it started receiving support from the EU4Innovation programme. The family business has grown from 3 to 160 beehives. They produce high-quality honey through traditional and innovative harvesting and beekeeping methods,” said Ambassador Hohmann.
The ambassador emphasized that “Alpine Bees is an excellent example of how TeamEurope is supporting young innovative entrepreneurs in Albania”.
“Like bees that need a clean environment to produce a better product, we are working to create an environment where young Albanians can realize their ideas,” said EU Ambassador Christiane Hohmann. /p.s./
