TIRANA, Aug 6 /ATA/ Over 72,000 drivers of the Korça region will soon access road transport services in modern settings.
Prime Minister Edi Rama on Saturday posted on social media images of this investment that has transformed the building of the Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services in Korça into a new complex up to the standards for citizens.
“The new Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services, (DRSHTRR) Korçë is nearing completion,” Rama wrote.
“With dignified working and service conditions for employees and citizens of the southeastern region for 72,688 drivers from the municipalities: Korçë, Devoll, Kolonjë, Maliq, Pogradec and Pustec,”Prime Minister Rama said.
The old building constructed in the ‘60s was obsolete and below the standards required to offer a quality service to the citizens. The project for DRSHTRR Korça entailed the construction of two buildings, a three floor building which will house the administration offices of DRSHTRR Korçë together with the service settings and archives, while building number two will house the silo for technical and physical inspection of the vehicles.
DRSHTRR Korça offers an average of 120,000 services per year for vehicle drivers. /j.p/sm/
