TIRANA, July 27/ATA/ The International Chamber Music Festival, “Chamber Fest Durrës”, with participation of artists from different countries ended today.
This edition of the “Durres Chamber Fest” was organized for the 17th time since June 28 at the premises of the Archaeological Museum of the city of Durrës.
Like in the previous editions, the organizers brought foreign and Albanian artists, ensembles from the best, applauded in different halls around the world, selected works from the repertoire of all periods of foreign and Albanian composers, as well as premiere work.
Chamber music has also been played outside the premises of the “Archaeological Museum”. Thus, there were two concerts performed in Cape Rodon with the Austrian artists of the Wiener Kammersymphonie Quintet, the Student Orchestra of the University of Arts and Marco Ozbic.
The last concert of the “Chamber Fest” is entitled “Chamber music on the coast”, with the Viennese atmosphere of Strauss’s waltzes, performed by soprano Linda Kazani, accompanied by a quartet of instrumentalists; Erald Simixhiu on piano, Nevila Kalaja on violin, Arben Llozi on viola and Pjetër Guralumi on cello.
This festival was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Durrës, the Archaeological Museum, the University of Arts, the Austrian Embassy and the Slovenian Embassy. /j.p/p.s./
