TIRANA, June 28 /ATA/ Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection Edona Bilali participated today in the Ministerial of the Western Balkans Platform for Research and Innovation.
Bilali drew attention to the initiative taken for the first time by the Albanian government to support the startup eco-system, for which the Albanian government in the next four years has made available a fund of 10 million Euros.
“The government is also committed to introducing Smart Specialization Strategy S3 within the next year,” Bilali said.
Following the Ministerial, Bilali held a meeting with representatives of the European Commission of the Department of Research and Innovation.
Bilali shared the innovations in the eco-system of startups, but also the challenges, which, she said, can be overcome thanks to cooperation and exchange of experiences./j.p/r.e/p.s./
