New “Sami Frashëri” school, ready for upcoming school year

TIRANA, June 22/ATA/ The “Sami Frashëri” school, one of the iconic high schools of Tirana, will be ready for the new school year.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media a view of the new school, which is being built from the beginning after being seriously damaged during the earthquake of November 26, 2019.

“Here’s the “Sami Frashëri” built anew; there is still a little more work and everything will be ready for the new school year”, wrote Rama in a post on social networks.

The new “Sami Frashëri” school is designed to meet the demand for a capacity of 1500 students, through 50 classes, with 30 students each. The new building is organized in 4 floors, creating several rooms where in addition to classrooms there will be laboratories, gyms, libraries, sports fields, etc., all transparent and illuminated by natural light that enables students to contact the greenery and nature.

In addition to the architectural project, there is given much significance to the outdoor space project, conceived as open rooms inside the school and connected by a series of itineraries that invite for recreational activities. /j.p/p.s./
