TIRANA, June 18 /ATA/ Secretary General of the Democratic Party in opposition Flamur Noka demanded resignation of Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi because his son is involved in a criminal traffic affair in Italy.
“PM Edi Rama is doing the utmost to keep secret the scandal of involvement of Bledi Çuçi’s son in a criminal traffic affair in Italy and to keep him in the post of Minister of Interior “, said Noka.
“If there was a state in Albania with a functioning democracy and not a regime, Bledi Çuçi, even if he did not resign, should have been fired immediately,” Noka continued.
According to him, Bledi Çuçi has remained silent about the role of his son in the trafficking scheme, revealed by the Italian law enforcement authorities, but his deliberate silence does not cover the serious facts./p.s./
