Rama: Ukraine war makes “Open Balkan” even more indispensable

TIRANA, June 8/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the war in Ukraine makes the “Open Balkans” an even greater necessity than it was before this war started.

In his speech at the opening of the “Open Balkans” summit being held in Ohrid, PM Rama said that, “This is an opportunity to talk about the” Open Balkans” while being in an” Open Balkans “. We cannot come to an “Open Balkans” meeting and talk as if we are used to when we go to Brussels. We must speak very openly and we must preserve and strengthen this characteristic of this region, without fear that by speaking of it openly we may have more problems than reasons to unite. It is quite the contrary”.

“I want to remind you that we are meeting today for the first time at an “Open Balkan” Summit after the war in Ukraine started and I want to tell everyone that contrary to what some mistakenly think, the war in Ukraine makes the Open Balkan a “an even greater necessity than before this war, that surprised everyone, started”, said Rama./p.s./
