TIRANA, June 8 /ATA-ANSA/ –The Albanian Telegraphic Agency, the main news agency in Albania, and ANSA have signed an important agreement of cooperation in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Albania, Fabrizio Bucci.
The partnership between the two agencies envisages the availability and exchange of news via the respective information platforms.
The range of international information services is expanded for the subscribers of the two agencies, as this agreement provides the possibility for the partners to access their respective information services for use and have joint commercial offers to support the communication of institutions and companies from respective countries.
The signing of this important agreement between ANSA and ATA confirms the intensity of bilateral relations between Italy and Albania. It is symbolic that this agreement was signed at the end of the Italian Week, during which the Embassy has organized 54 artistic and cultural events throughout Albania. Italy is the principal partner in Albania in a number of sectors and thanks to this agreement it will be as such in the field of information as well,” ambassador Fabrizio Bucci said.
ANSA Director General Stefano De Alessandri expressed satisfaction with this cooperation.
“This agreement signed today with ATA signifies a new and further step to complete our strategy of international agreements with the main news agencies in the Balkan area. The goal is to expand the availability of news for our journalists and the public and to implement commercial projects with companies in the respective countries,” De Alessandri.
“I am glad to be here to sign the agreement with ANSA, one of the leading news agencies in the world, which has been and continues to be a reference point for our agency,” ATA director general, Valbona Zhupa, said.
“This agreement will bring our countries closer by disseminating the light of truthful and unbiased news wherever we are.” The two countries have concluded many other agreements including those in the fields of education, culture, tourism and cinema. All of them have brought us closer, but also enabled us to learn more about each other. That is why this agreement today is so relevant,” said Zhupa.
