TIRANA, May 20 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announces that, in the last 24 hours, of 703 tests performed, 28 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Ministry, 14 citizens in Tirana, 4 in Shkodra, 2 in Fier, 1 citizen in Rrogozhina, Patos, Lushnja, Saranda, Konispol, Përmet, Tepelena, Korça have tested positive.
“There are 239 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country. Currently 4 patients are receiving treatment in COVID3 –designated hospital. In the last 24 hours there was no fatality due to Sars-Cov2,” sources from the Ministry said.
“66 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases to date at 272,066 since the outset of the epidemic,” same sources say.
