TIRANA, May 11 /ATA/ Deputy Prime Minister, also Minister of State for Reconstruction and Reform Program, Arben Ahmetaj, and Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations, Elisa Spiropali, received on Wednesday the Vice President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, also Special Representative on South East Europe, Azay Guliyev, and the OSCE ambassador in Tirana, Vincenzo Del Monaco.
Minister Spiropali said that the meeting touched on the progress of electoral reform, human rights, parliamentary affairs, gender equality, for which the OSCE Presence in Albania has provided ongoing support and assistance.
“At issue was also the EU integration process for the security of the region, the situation and repercussions of the war in Ukraine and the steadfast positions of Albania in the UN Security Council and everywhere, as well as further intensification of cooperation to advance reforms,” Spiropali said.
