TIRANA, May 11 /ATA/ The Chairman of the SP Parliamentary Group hosted on Wednesday in a meeting the Vice President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Azay Guliyev and the Chairman of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Vincenzo Del Monaco.
Balla said that during the meeting he stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the OSCE, especially in the new geopolitical context created as a result of Russian aggression against the sovereignty and people of Ukraine, where security and stability in the Western Balkans region remain of paramount importance.
Balla expressed his gratitude to Guliyev for the expertise provided over the years by the OSCE for electoral reform as well as the support given to the Albanian Parliament in important projects aimed at capacity building and transparency. /j.p/sm/
