TIRANA, April 29/ATA/ General Director of the National Agency for Information Society Mirlinda Karçanaj stated today that the services without counters will give a blow and put an end to tips and the long queues, as well as make things easier to the citizens.
Through a video posted on the official website of the prime minister, Karçanaj answered the most frequent questions of the public on the process, where she spoke about the institutions that significantly reduce the physical counters.
Karçanaj said that only in the General Directorate of Civil Registry Office, out of 390 physical counters, there will remain only 150 counters.
“All institutions are affected. There is planned the first group of institutions whose counters are significantly reduced. Thus, the General Directorate of Civil Registry Office, from 390 physical counters, will have 150 counters. The remaining counters will offer only the services that need the presence of the person. The National Business Center is also affected and the services will be provided only online. Meanwhile, those who previously worked at the physical counters, will reply to the citizens who require documents with an electronic stamp,” she said.
Also, Karçanaj said that the decision affects the General Directorate of Taxes and the Social Insurance Institute, but also all other institutions, because even in the case when these institutions did not have physical counters now the people will have an answer that comes only electronically and with a digital stamp.
According to her, “This is the most important innovation of this transformation”. / m.m / j.p /p.s./
