TIRANA, April 27/ATA/ Beginning from April 30, there will change the way the administration will serve citizens and businesses.
According to Director of the National Agency for Information Society Linda Karçanaj, there are two reasons for this: First, the services will be monitored in real time and services that do not need a physical presence will be received only through “e -Albania ”.
According to her, we are ambitious to have a centralized system for all the work of the public administration in the next two years, moving it to paperless operation.
Karçanaj stated that thanks to technology, there will be avoided corruption, tips and long queues at physical counters.
Karçanaj also mentioned some of the evaluations made by international institutions, starting with the State Department, EBRD, UN, EU, or OECD.
She highlighted the fact that 56% of Albanians, more than in every other country in the region, regularly use the “e-Albania” platform.
She said that there are 20 million digital stamped documents generated so far, which renders into 20 million comings and goings that have been saved to citizens./r.e/p.s./
