TIRANA, April 14 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, said that the spirit of cooperation in agriculture is at the core of govt. policies in this sector.
In this context, the Minister pointed out in her remarks at the plenary session that the government is working out plans to encourage farmers to cooperate, rural tourism operators to interact with joint projects that deliver an impact on the community.
Krifca said that development in this sector is impossible to be achieved without cooperation and even the best rural agricultural practices are built on models of cooperative associations created on a voluntary basis. The government is financing agricultural cooperatives as models of sustainable development.
“In this spirit, we present the draft law designed to promote cooperation in the network of local interaction groups, which draft joint projects that benefit the whole community,” said Krifca.
